Actalent is hiring for a quality technician to support an electrical engineering plant in El Paso, TX!

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Technician or Method Engineering Technician. Candidates should have at least a year of experience in a similar role, be eager to learn, work under tight agendas, be team players, and be able to work overtime if needed.

What will you do?

• Work with Application Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers supervisors, and hourly line associates to effectively create Detailed Work Instructions for new hires as well as Job Breakdown Sheets for hourly personnel.

• Support launch projects by determining time estimates through video analysis.

Hard Skills

• Experience working in Safety, Quality & Manufacturing Engineering environment

• Significant knowledge and experience with business software related to Manufacturing such as Microsoft Excel, Word, SAP, etc.

• Experience in blueprint reading

Soft Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Flexibility with working hours

• Strong desire to work with people on the manufacturing floor and related areas like Safety, Quality & Manufacturing

• Ability to work under tight timelines
