Job Description Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Quality Manager in our El Paso, TX location. The Quality Manager is responsible for providing leadership and management for quality and customer satisfaction, as well as building the quality policy and culture. The person in this role will manage quality assurance, control processes, and programs by developing, implementing, and administering quality standards and procedures assuring product quality, continual improvement, and customer satisfaction across the plant.
What will you do? * Manage Quality and Customer Experience in the manufacturing plant * Manage the performance and competence of a team of quality engineers * Be the Voice of the Customer * Represent the voice of customer and drive the customer centricity within the entity * Influence the decision process of the entity to always take into account the voice of the customers (Schneider Performance System, etc.) * Contribute to improving customer satisfaction and achieving quality goals by defining, implementing and managing action plans * Quality Excellence * Run Customer Satisfaction and Quality related processes (Issue to Prevention) * Drive Quality Excellence in manufacturing (from Suppliers to Customers: stamping, molding, automated assembly, receiving, packing, returns, etc.) * Drive the relevant quality programs and methods (8D, Lean Six Sigma, SPS, etc.) to ensure continuous improvement * Quality System * Implement the Schneider quality policy, define CSandQ roles, targets and objectives within the entity * Advocate to drive and implement the Global directives and policies * Manage the Quality Management System (ISO) of the entity * Network continuously with CSandQ teams to ensure their entity's needs are understood and considered * Identify and capitalize on best practices in quality * Ensure the right level of competency for the CSandQ team
What skills and capabilities will make you successful? * Expert level in Quality Management Systems ISO9001, ISO90002, ISO14001 (Quality Management System, Environmental MS, OHSAS and Capable to conduct IMS internal Audit.) * Familiar with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements (ANSI, NEMA, IEC) * Previous experience in leading internal audits * Green Belt or Black Belt certified * Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts; Lean 6 Sigma, Poke a Yoke, 8D, Process Control, DoE, PFMEA, DFMEA, DMAIC methodology, etc) * SAP Knowledge preferred

What qualifications will make you successful for this role? * Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or related Engineering field * 5+ years of work experience in Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Customer Satisfaction * 3+ years of supervisory/managerial experience
