Robert Half Inventory Clerk in El Paso, Texas

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk in the healthcare industry in El Paso, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining inventory records in a hospital setting. Your main duties will include conducting inventory checks, restocking service stations, and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of service requests.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the inventory checks on nursing floor stocking units.

• Utilize the automated system to confirm the accuracy of inventory counts.

• Follow the pick list to replenish supplies at service stations.

• Manage the distribution and control of selected equipment and supplies for patient care within the hospital.

• Ensure accurate and prompt processing of service requests.

• Utilize data entry skills to update and maintain asset inventory records. Requirements • This is an entry-level position and no prior experience is required, although familiarity with inventory management would be beneficial.

• Proficiency in data entry is essential, as the role involves regular updating and maintaining of inventory records.

• Familiarity with asset inventory management is desirable as the role involves tracking and managing company assets.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required, further education in business or a related field will be appreciated.

• Strong focus on details to ensure accuracy in inventory records.

• Good organizational skills to manage various tasks and deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with different departments and external suppliers.

• Basic computer literacy, particularly in spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.

• Willingness to engage in detail oriented development and training opportunities.

• Physical fitness to handle inventory items, including lifting and moving boxes when necessary.
