We are seeking a skilled Stand Up Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, including reach trucks and lift trucks, to efficiently move materials and products throughout the distribution center. The Forklift Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining an organized and safe warehouse while ensuring that all operations comply with OSHA regulations.

Pay: Up to $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 3PM-11PM- Mon-Sat

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Responsibilities

• Operate Stand Up forklifts, including reach trucks and hi-los, to transport materials within the warehouse.
• Load and unload products from delivery trucks using pallet jacks and other equipment.
• Ensure proper stacking and storage of goods in designated areas to maximize space efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in training new employees on proper forklift operation and warehouse procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Stand Up Forklift Operator in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse safety.
• Proficiency in operating various types of Stand Up forklifts, including reach trucks, lift trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and record keeping.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles is a plus.
