Position Summary

:

The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, analysis, and continuous improvement of the companys compensation and benefits programs. This role will support the HR team in ensuring fair and competitive pay practices, effective benefits administration, and compliance with government and tribal regulations. The ideal candidate has experience in compensation and benefits administration, a commitment to accuracy, and a desire to enhance employee satisfaction through meaningful rewards programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • *Compensation Administration: *
    • Administer the companys compensation programs, including processing salary adjustments, reviewing job classifications, and ensuring adherence to company policies.
    • Conduct regular compensation benchmarking to evaluate the competitiveness of salaries, and recommend adjustments as needed.
    • Support the annual merit review process by preparing compensation data, coordinating with department managers, and implementing pay changes.
    • Maintain accurate compensation records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and tribal regulations.
  • *Benefits Administration: *
    • Manage day-to-day benefits administration, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, and other programs.
    • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries, assisting with enrollment, changes, and troubleshooting.
    • Collaborate with benefit providers and brokers to manage annual open enrollment, ensure plan compliance, and optimize employee offerings.
    • Track and analyze benefits utilization data, providing recommendations to optimize benefits offerings and improve employee satisfaction.
