Brokers Logistics Business Development Representative in El Paso, Texas

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative specializing in Warehousing and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) to join our team.

In this role, BDR will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and a strong ability to communicate effectively. This position is essential for expanding our market presence and enhancing our customer base.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • A strong background in selling warehousing and 3PL services.
  • A proven track record of generating new business within the logistics and supply chain industry.
  • Proven ability to nurture long-term relationships with clients.
  • Contact prospective customers.
  • Work with the VP to complete the design of contracts including the scope of work development, assumption justification, operational plan development and pricing for new business.
  • Experience developing sales plans, analyzing profitability of prospects and fully understanding the competitive influences and risks with each account.

Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Conduct warm calling to prospective clients to generate interest in our products and services.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand out client base.
  • Utilize Pipe Drive to track leads, manage customer interactions, and report on sales activities.
  • Negotiate terms of sales agreements with clients to close deals effectively.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify target markets and develop strategies for outreach.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide feedback from clients to improve product offerings and service delivery.

Client Engagement:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers through effective communication and follow-up.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly, effectively and efficiently.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships

Sales Execution

  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably n Warehousing and 3PL sales.
  • Engage in direct sales efforts to generate leads and close the deals.
  • Prepare and present proposals and presentations to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and seal the deal to meet or exceed sales goals

Skills

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to conduct warm calling effectively while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of inside sales processes and best practices in business development.
  • Familiarity with market research techniques to identify potential clients and opportunities.
