Job Purpose:
Ensures maximum performance of slot machines by performing appropriate maintenance and repairs in an effort to minimize downtime.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Able and required to complete all Technician I job duties and responsibilities, in addition to Technician II duties.
Answer service calls, diagnose routine machine malfunctions with proficient troubleshooting, perform machine repairs, cosmetic repairs, adjust touch screens as needed, and set game options.
Reactivate out-of-order machines in a minimum length of time by working with Senior Parts Support Representative to ensure defective parts are ordered and readily available.
Complete scheduled slot projects by reviewing project specifications and action plans to meet project requirements and assist with conversions and upgrades on all slot machine types.
Installs game software by following manufacturer's instructions, set internal and external game options, re-optioning, RAM clears, coordinate bill validator pre-testing activities, software, and money test in accordance with policy and procedure.
Complete required paperwork and communicate the verified settings in accordance with policy and procedure for accounting departments 4% variance packets and the slot department EGM weekly error reports.
Assist during the daily drop by clearing EGM errors, repairing broken locks, and securing EGM doors.
Update the slot technician daily pass-down and send informational emails as needed.
Understand and recognize progressive controllers/masters, advancing in progressive setup training.
Job Specifications: Education and Experience: Essential:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
6 months experience as a Technician I, or equivalent experience
Customer service experience
Experience in maintenance and repair of electronic systems and equipment
Desirable:
Prior experience in computer or arcade video game repair
Knowledge of AC/DC electronics
Multi-lingual
Skills and Knowledge:
Essential:
Proficient at recall history on all slot manufacturers
Proficient at identifying EGM cabinets and manufacturers
Proven proficient troubleshooter
Ability to move slot machines in excess of 200 lbs. with a hand truck/utility dolly
Ability to regularly lift 75 lbs.
Ability to bend and stoop
Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions
Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in the English language
Ability to work in a fast-paced and goal-oriented environment
Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks and assignments
Ability to use tools and equipment required for machine preventative maintenance
Ability to use equipment in the same manner as trained
Ability to do repetitive manual tasks for up to eight hours at a time
Ability to work any shift
Ability to wear required PPE (safety toe shoes, work gloves)
Ability to work in a smoking environment
Ability to appear for work on time
Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members
Ability to complete forms
Ability to maintain professionalism and composure
Ability to accept constructive criticism
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Knowledge of AC/DC digital electronics
Ability to identify EGM parts
Efficient in MS Office
Organizational skills/Detail orientation
Ability to follow Safety protocol and report safety concerns
