Insight Global Control Systems Engineer in El Cajon, California

Job Description

Our client in San Diego, CA is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to support several pharmaceutical clients across the US.

  • Provide engineering support for foremen and technicians

  • Provide onsite support and service as needed

  • Prepare recommendations on control systems to meet client needs

  • Direct configuration, programming, testing, and troubleshooting of instruments, valves, etc.

  • Lead design reviews with clients and other stakeholders

  • Configure, program, test, and trouble shoot control systems and networks

  • Direct specification of instruments, valves, analyzers, etc.

  • Develop project related drawings and documentation (wiring diagrams, control panels, interconnect diagrams, etc.)

Skills and Requirements

  • 2 years of professional experience in controls engineering, manufacturing engineering, PLC programming, etc.

  • Bachelors degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering - Experience with designing control panels using UL 508A standards

  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLC null
