Amentum Administrative Assistant in Eielson AFB, Alaska
Purpose/Scope
Under general supervision, perform complex administrative/secretarial support for division manager and assigned staff. Compose letter, memoranda, and reports independently. Assignments are broad in nature, requiring originality.
Responsibilities
Audits payroll and submits coding corrections to Program Management field offices.
Reviews invoices for accuracy, coding and entry into corporate resource management system.
Reviews all reports for accuracy, and codes with correct accounting information.
Prepares back up documentation.
Orders office supplies as required, ensures office automation equipment is in working order, maintains adequate supply of required forms and documents to support work site personnel.
Minimum Knowledge
High school diploma or equivalent required with some specialized training. Seven (7) years related secretarial/administrative experience. Must have thorough working knowledge of computer operating systems, database, spreadsheet, word processing, graphics and other common programs. Must possess the ability to make sound independent decisions, based on established procedures and knowledge of division operations and priorities. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Work Environment
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting up to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must posses planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
