Air National Guard Units ORDNANCE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey

Summary This National Guard position is for a ORDNANCE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC, Position Description Number D2575000 and is part of the 177TH MXS, National Guard. The purpose of this position is to provide munitions support to the state and designated agencies in support of their taskings. This dual status technician position requires military membership. Responsibilities As a ORDNANCE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC, WG-6641-10, you will: Establish and maintain bench stock and operational stock program. Coordinate with Air Logistics Complex (ALC) Special Program Offices (SPO) with Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) reporting, software/mapping updates and deficiency reporting. Manage allocations, stock levels, inventories, requisitions, and disposition of munitions. Validates, maintains, and provides security of accountable/auditable records. Ensure segregation of duties is maintained both physically and within the accountable property system of record (APSR). Maintains maps of the storage area, primary and alternate explosives routes, and sited explosives locations. Coordinates commercial or organic movement hazardous material munitions or related assets through the Traffic Management Office. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which has provided knowledge and application of mechanical and electrical principles and the skill to perform intricate repair and adjustment of hydraulic and pneumatic components and devices. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 18 months experience in the following: Using precision measurement equipment. Repairing, rebuilding, modifying and testing a variety of major subassemblies. Diagnosing malfunctions and determining repair in major components consisting of numerous assemblies, interrelated electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic assemblies, and components. Education There are no education requirements for this vacancy announcement.
