Job Title: Engineering Technician

Job Description

The technical resource for providing engineering, product, and installation information necessary to execute new and reconstruction cooling tower projects.

Responsibilities

• Generate installation and fabrication drawings, along with bills of materials, for basic cooling tower components, with supervision.

• Assist with field problem resolution.

• Design and develop new components using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

• Conduct inspections as required.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.

• 0-3 years of experience in detailing and application of structural, mechanical, and materials detailing and application skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with materials of construction including lumber, fiberglass, steel, and concrete is a plus.

• Experience in practical construction and assembly of products.

• Ability to communicate and cooperate effectively with personnel.

• Ability to produce accurate and complete bills of materials and drawings.
