Job Title: 1st shift Production Associate - START IMMEDIATELY

Job Description

In this role, you will work in both the Test Lab and the Build Lab. In the Test Lab, you will handle products returned for repair, scan products, complete basic tear downs, enter information into the computer system, clean products, and repackage them as needed. Visual Aides will assist you in completing tasks, and these aids will change depending on the products you are working with. In the Build Lab, you will test basic electrical connections (AC/DC plug ins, flipping breakers for power) and perform basic testing of Radio Frequency equipment that runs simulated tests through laptop applications and involve fiber connection tests.

Responsibilities

• Handle products returned for repair.

• Scan products and complete basic tear downs.

• Enter information into the computer system.

• Clean and repackage products as needed.

• Utilize Visual Aides to complete tasks.

• Test basic electrical connections and Radio Frequency equipment.

• Perform fiber connection tests.

Essential Skills

• Very computer literate.

• Use of Excel, SAP, Oracle.

• Use of hand tools, mainly screwdrivers.

• Strong attention to detail to look for damages.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Comfortable navigating and documenting in computer systems.

• Experience with hardware, hand tools, cabling, inspection, troubleshooting, quality, mechanical, electronics, installation, repair, racking, server, and visual inspection.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Granite City, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
