Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, we want you to join our diverse team as a Deployable Quality Analyst - Weapons (level 2) / Principal Quality Analyst – Weapons (level 3) located at Edwards AFB, CA.

You will develop and implement program quality plans, processes, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. Ensure that performance, products, and services conform to established company, customer, and regulatory standards. Review, analyze, and report on quality discrepancies related to assembly, maintenance, and processes. Investigate problems and develop disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interface with manufacturing, engineering, customer, supplier and subcontractor representatives to ensure compliance with requirements. Recommend corrective actions, dispositions and modifications. Evaluate maintenance processes and equipment to determine capability, improve efficiency, and assure quality standards. Perform quality assurance inspections, process audits, and surveillance on all phases of maintenance and sustainment. Assure all material components used comply with applicable standards. Determine procedures for controlling product and process quality. Review quality trend analyses and related quality performance and customer satisfaction data. Maintain liaison with manufacturing, engineering, material management, supplier, and customer personnel to resolve quality problems. Review and extraction of contract requirements for implementation in documented processes and procedure executable by the workforce. Collaborate with Program Management in the development of performance metrics in the areas of customer satisfaction, product/service performance, process performance and supplier/subcontractor performance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Level 2: High school diploma or equivalent and 6 years of Aerospace experience handling and loading munitions on fighter or bomber aircraft; or Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Aerospace experience handling and loading munitions on fighter or bomber aircraft.

  • Level 3: High school diploma or equivalent and 9 years of Aerospace experience handling and loading munitions on fighter or bomber aircraft; or Bachelor's degree and 5 years of Aerospace experience handling and loading munitions on fighter or bomber aircraft.

  • Must have Weapons Evaluation and Training experience.

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationship at all levels.

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word, MS excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.

  • Have and maintain a valid U.S. passport.

  • Accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 120 days away from primary work location and comply with mobility requirements.

  • Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance and be able to maintain that clearance.

  • Ability to obtain and retain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance.

  • Interpreting engineering/inspection requirements per customer specifications.

  • Experience extracting metrics to tack process health.

  • Test and Evaluation experience.

  • Experience in QMS development, implementation, and maintenance to the ISO 9001 or AS9100 standard.

Salary Range: $72,100 - $108,100

Salary Range 2: $88,700 - $133,100

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
