Job Overview
We are currently looking to add a Journeyperson Electric Motor Systems Technician with Rewind Experience to our Edmonton, AB location.
Reports to: Mechanical Shop Foreman
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 hours
Location: Edmonton, AB
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation
Wage: $31.99 - $58.16
Responsibilities
Diagnose problems in electric motor systems.
Dismantle electric motors and other electrical and mechanical equipment for servicing, modification, or repair.
Armature winding
AC, DC, and Generator winding
Troubleshooting and Evaluating equipment
Wind and assemble various types of coils for electric motors or transformers and reinstall.
Balance armatures or rotors.
Weld and braze or solder electrical connections.
Align and adjust parts to close tolerances in order to reassemble items.
Complete relevant repair paperwork.
Qualifications
Journeyperson electric motor systems technician with Armature rewind experience.
Experience with electric motor repair, including all aspects of the trade.
Good organizational and planning skills.
Strong standard for quality and safety.
Team oriented approach and thought process.
