Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description

We are seeking skilled contractors experienced in operating graders, dozers, and scrapers with the ability to check grade. This role involves civil grading, drainage systems, and general labor in commercial construction.

Responsibilities

  • Operate graders, dozers, scrapers, excavators, and loaders.

  • Check grade and read civil drawings accurately.

  • Perform tasks beyond equipment operation, including general labor and concrete work.

  • Utilize laser levelers, GPS equipment, and evaluate grade to within an inch.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in operating dozers, scrapers, excavators, graders, and loaders.

  • Ability to check grade and read civil drawings.

  • Experience with laser levelers and GPS equipment.

  • Commercial construction experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ambitious and self-motivated individuals.

  • Ability to work in outdoor environments and be on their feet.

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily outdoors, requiring you to be open to the elements. The shift is from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with opportunities for overtime, typically totaling 50 hours a week. The team includes 22 other operators and 2 Field Superintendents.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edmond, Oklahoma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00
