Actalent Electrical Engineer in Edison, New Jersey

Our Client is an Engineering & Architecture firm focused within the Public Industry. They are looking to bring on an Electrical Engineer for complex electrical projects while managing a team of junior engineers.

DESCRIPTION

  • Develop and review electrical design plans, specifications, and calculations for more complex projects

  • Conduct load calculations, short circuit studies, and coordination studies.

  • Overseeing Electrical Team, Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff

  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC, NFPA)

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding electrical engineering matters.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders.

  • Address and resolve client queries and issues promptly and professionally

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering within the MEP consulting field

  • AutoCAD experience, Revit is a Plus

  • Generating Scopes of Work

  • PE is a plus
