POSITION SUMMARY

Atterbury Job Corps Center operated by Adams is seeking a CSIO Supervisor (Center Standards & Incentives Officer) to have oversight of the management of the Center discipline, recognition and incentive program for students. The Supervisor analyzes the Center’s student discipline and incentive program and uses proper judgment and discretion to resolve issues and problems.

MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISIONSupervises and manages the CSIO Department and staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follows all program integrity guidelines and procedures and ensures no manipulation of student data.

  • Oversees the Center behavior management system to ensure student compliance with Center rules and regulations.

  • Interviews, recommends for hire, disciplines, recommends for termination and evaluates the performance of the employees in the CSIO department.

  • Provides orientation to new students including explaining Center rules, regulations, incentive/disciplinary system and legal services available.

  • Provides in-service training to all staff on the Center behavior management system.

  • Ensures the Center's compliance with Job Corps Zero Tolerance policies.

  • Administers penalties for disciplinary infractions in accordance with PRH requirements, approved sanction guide and the Student Handbook.

  • Appoints and trains staff to serve on the Centers Fact Finding Boards and Behavior Review Panels.

  • Investigates student incidents involving student misconduct. Reports significant concerns to the Center Director.

  • Ensures sanctions are imposed in accordance with Center Sanction Guide.

  • Maintains a complete file of student disciplinary records and ensures student behavioral infractions are appropriately entered into CIS.

  • Analyzes and prepares data related to behavioral trends and prepares required reports as directed.

  • Fills staff vacancies in a timely manner. Effectively motivates, empowers and requires staff to perform his/her job responsibilities. Employs sound time-management and delegation skills.

  • Holds staff accountable for producing quality work, develops staff for career progression and disciplines staff that fail to meet goals.

  • Motivates and manages staff to work effectively, creates a supportive work environment, recognizes staff accomplishments and proactively addresses staff performance concerns.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree from an accredited school preferred.

  • A minimum of two years experience in Job Corps or related youth program required. Must possess

  • a valid in-State Drivers License and meet Company insurability requirements. DOL approval

  • required.
