Position Overview: The Field Service Technician will install, replace, and perform routine and preventive maintenance on critical power systems that protect the electrical grid, support telecommunication infrastructures, and keep data center traffic flowing. Reporting Relationship: The Field Service Technician reports to the Service Manager Responsibilities/Accountabilities Install/replace battery systems, related accessories, and hardware Install/replace power electronics equipment/hardware, including wiring and connections Perform preventive maintenance and testing on battery and battery charging systems in UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplies), Utility, and Telecommunication settings Attend and participate in safety training Adhere to all company and industry safety policies and procedures Adhere to applicable customer, industry, and manufacturer's maintenance/installation methods and standards Proper operation of basic tools and test equipment Proper operation of material handling equipment Supply and organize trucks with all equipment necessary to perform job functions Continually train and develop to advance Field Service Technician responsibilities
