Description

Part-time: 20 hours/week (Hybrid)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Benefits and Payroll Specialist to join our HR team. This individual will play a critical role in managing benefits administration and supporting payroll functions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in ADP and have a strong understanding of benefits processes and payroll systems. While full payroll processing experience is a plus, it is not a requirement for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Benefits Administration:

  • Assist with benefits administration, including submitting, reviewing, and approving benefits in ADP.

  • Conduct manual enrollments for life insurance and process employee promotions in ADP.

  • Manage benefits-related reporting, pulling and analyzing data as needed.

  • Conduct eligibility audits and manage open enrollment processes, including auditing enrollments for new hires.

  • Payroll Support:

  • Provide biweekly payroll support, ensuring accurate data entry and adherence to company policies.

  • Assist with transitioning payroll information from UKG to ADP, ensuring a smooth migration.

  • Collaborate with the finance team on payroll-related tasks, particularly around payroll auditing and support.

  • Systems Management:

  • ADP: A strong requirement; ability to navigate the system, manage benefits, and pull reports.

  • Excel: Use of Excel to build and support benefits reporting.

  • Support the migration process as the company consolidates systems from UKG to ADP by January 1st.

Proven experience in benefits administration and ADP system management.

Familiarity with payroll processes and ability to provide support as needed.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in managing data and reports.

Proficiency in Excel for creating and analyzing benefits-related reports.

Ability to navigate and support HRIS systems, particularly during transitions and system migrations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with full payroll processing (a plus, but not required).

Previous experience in handling payroll migrations and system transitions (UKG to ADP preferred).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.

  • Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.

  • 3-5 years of experience in benefits and payroll

  • Experience with full payroll processing (a plus, but not required).

  • Previous experience in handling payroll migrations and system transitions (UKG to ADP preferred)..
