Harbor View Hotel Management LLC located in Edgartown Massachusetts seeks Twelve (12) full-time Temporary Food and Beverage Servers who will be responsible: to ensure guests receive 5-star service by being attentive and efficient during service, following the hotel trained Forbes Standards; ascertain a guests satisfaction and handle any problem, which may arise informing a manager of the problem and how it was resolved. Service locations may include poolside dining area, or indoor or inroom dining in one of two restaurants located within the hotel. Must have in-depth knowledge of all offerings on menu and their ingredients to response to all questions from a guest and be able to assist in training and preforming all aspects of sequence of service. Will report directly to Director of Food and Beverage. Three (3) months of experience at a hotel, resort, restaurant or private club required. All worksites located in Dukes County, Massachusetts. Workers are assigned to one (1) worksite per day, and rarely travel outside of their assigned worksite. Therefore, travel throughout this area is required less than 5% of the time. Daily commuting time to worksites is less than one (1) hour. Daily transportation is provided to and from worksite. On-the-job training is provided. Workers will make no less than the prevailing wage of \$18.81 per hour and Overtime at \$28.22 per hour. This is a tipped position; therefore, workers will receive a minimum wage of \$6.75 per hour plus tips. No employees will make less than \$18.81 per hour (combined wage and tips). If theres a shortfall in tip earnings during the week that falls below an average of \$18.81 per hour, the employer will pay the difference. Employees will keep all tips except for contribution to a tip-pool for other qualifying tipped employees. Paid Bi-weekly. Will use single workweek as standard for computing wages due. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening and weekend hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Work hours and shifts vary. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Wages are paid bi-weekly. All deductions as required by law. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for all reasonable inbound transportation and subsistence costs within the first workweek. The employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for all reasonable outbound transportation and subsistence costs during the last workweek. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
