Job Description

Install and maintain operating systems and related software to ensure stable performance.

Evaluate system specifications, input/output processes, and hardware/software compatibility.

Troubleshoot networking and operating system problems.

Perform administrative, maintenance, and troubleshooting functions within a multi-platform environment.

Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for system administration tasks.

Handle basic issues and refer complex problems to higher-level staff

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field.

2-3 years of experience in infrastructure support, preferably in a technical leadership role.

Experience in a multi-location enterprise environment (2000+ users)

Server and Directory Services: Proven experience in managing and maintaining server and directory services to ensure optimal network operations and security.

Active Directory: Strong proficiency in Active Directory for effective user management, security policy enforcement, and network system efficiency.

Windows Server: Extensive knowledge of Windows Server for administration, configuration, management, and troubleshooting to maintain high availability and performance.

VMware: Expertise in VMware for deploying, configuring, and optimizing virtualized environments to enhance infrastructure scalability, flexibility, and reliability.

Familiarity with the following:

Exchange

Office365 Suite

SharePoint

Dell Server Platform

Cisco UCS Platform

EMC Data Protection Suite Backup Infrastructure

SCCM

Disaster Recovery

Knowledge of IT governance, project planning, and multi-platform environments Experience with Public and Private Cloud Management (AWS preferred).

Knowledge of PowerShell or VBScript null
