Position Description The Sr. Software Integration Test Engineer position is a key member of the Software and Connectivity solution team for Bracco Medical Technologies (BMT) and will develop and lead Testing and Integration for Platform software for Device and Digital Health for both Radiology, Cardiology and adjacent medical domains. You will serve as a Test Lead for the global R&D software engineering organization, and contribute directly in activities for all phases of the software development lifecycle, with focus on Integration testing and verification and validation of medical devices and connectivity solutions. This role leverages software testing proficiency to translate product requirements into test strategies and document work to ensure compliance within a highly regulated Product Development Process (PDP) and Quality Management System (QMS). Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Technical Lead of Software Test team for Injector and Digital Health platform software for medical devices and product solutions within BMT Key member of software verification and testing team for DI (Diagnostic Imaging) and CV (Cardiovascular) domains Collaborate with internal technical stakeholders and 3rd party vendors for Test Strategy for IHE and Medical Device Interoperability Create and develop solutions to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) for customers, improve workflow efficiency and gain visibility over business intelligence of enterprise contrast administration and cardiovascular devices Lead testing for OEM connectivity, RIS/PACS interface allow BMT to meet basic tender requirements Collaborates with Architect, Principal Engineers, and lead Systems Engineer to ensure software architecture meets specifications, and there is readiness for verification and validation, based on hazards and customer needs Designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and documenting/validating software testing components and applications. Participate in all phases of product development as needed such as reviewing requirements, design, usability, risk assessment, and testing execution. Drive the culture of engineering excellence and commitment to quality Develop and coordinate cloud architecture development across diverse areas including application development, identity and access management, network and data management, and security Test architecture for cloud-native, hybrid, or multi-cloud solutions to meet the client's needs Lead overall Software Test Strategy on product development project Provide input to requirements developments for testability Lead Software Integration and Verification for NPD programs Create overall test strategy and systems integration plan Develop automated and semi-automated test software Analyze experimental results and prepare test reports Demonstrate and document coverage of requirements Provide input to project teams on task durations and resource requirements Provide input to validation test plans Software Verification & Validation Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities): Minimum Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related discipline 5+ years with Test scripts and Python 6+ years of experience in software development or testing in C# .NET environment Prior experience in leading Software Testing for Medical Device industry Track record of building Test Automation framework D monstrated experience in scripting languages. Proficiency in Software Development and Integration of Software components for device-based software, on-prem and extensibility to cloud-hosted apps. Demonstrated problem-solving and leadership skills Work closely with R&D Software Development and Systems Engineering on-site and/or Lab environment Close adherence to QMS and SOPs for correct development and implementation of Test protocols, methods and scripts. Preferred: MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline 8+ years of experience in software development or testing in C# .NET environment Python Scripting language expertise and Automated Test Tools experience Familiarity with: DICOM, HL7, IHE, and FHIR Familiar with Atlassian JAMA, Jira, Bamboo, BitBucket and Git Working knowledge of AZURE DevOps Experience with test automation including GUI, integration, reliability and designing and implementing test automation frameworks. Software development or testing experience in the medical industry or other regulated industry. Strong knowledge of modern, iterative software design processes and development practices including agile and test-driven development. Demonstrated results in testing for cybersecurity mitigations Knowledge of QSR, ISO/EN and Quality System Standards.
