The Sr. Security Analyst on the Web Security Experts team is the first line of defense for our customers websites, web applications, and web services. Utilizing our Managed WAF, Advanced Log Search, and other proprietary tools, they will use their skills to design and implement the strongest tuning solutions for protecting our customers web traffic before threats ever reach their critical infrastructure. As part of a team of experts, they will have the opportunity to grow their security knowledge from the experience of their peers, custom labs focused on real world scenarios, and from our excellent internal training programs. They will also be the voice of the customer, driving new features and improvements to our products and services, and working with key teams in product development and security content creation. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide world-class customer experience and security outcomes for our customers.
• Tune Alert Logic propriety security products to maximize risk mitigation and reduce threats to customer environments.
• Respond expeditiously to customer's service impacting issues and challenges experienced with the use of Alert Logic products and services in accordance with service level agreements and customer requirements.
• Provide support to Alert Logic customers by analyzing and reviewing logs related to their web traffic and make targeted, high-impact security recommendations.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of Alert Logic products and services with focus on solutions key to the web security role.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with a global team and across multiple departments to identify improvements to the customer experience and to maximize operational efficiencies.
• Represent customer and team interests in product, engineering, and security content discussions.
• Provide security expertise including investigation, documentation, and remediation recommendations as required for customer's incident response preferences.
• Maintain and configure Alert Logic solutions deployed in customer environments.
• Produce Knowledge Base Articles for best practices in your team's specific area of expertise as they pertain to the use of Alert Logic solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 - 3 years of experience in securing or developing web applications or as a security analyst or security focused network engineer.
• Intermediate understanding of cloud environments and infrastructure (preferably AWS)
• Command of Linux systems administration and working with BASH
• Intermediate understanding of the OWASP Top 10
• Intermediate understanding of application and session layer protocols
• Experience with SOAR, SIEM, IR, MDR or XDR solutions
• Basic understand of Regular Expression.
• Basic knowledge of IDS and Network Security fundamentals
