JOB TITLE: Senior Data Analyst

LOCATION: 11000 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)

DUTIES: Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Duties include: Lead technical solutions to implement enhancements and fix defects in the Community and State (CNS) Patient care Opportunity report(PCOR) to fulfill the needs of business requirements; Document the solutions in design and data mapping documents used by the Development team as instructions for coding and by the QA team to write test scripts; Responsible for migrating cloud database; Provide operational support for the successful delivery of the Patient Care Opportunity Report (PCOR); Respond to operational issues encountered with source data, bursting, publishing and all other tasks involved in the delivery of the PCOR; Respond to requests from the PCOR Business Owner/SME, Business Analysts, Developers and Project Manager to research questions, clarify information and analyze data; Act as a liaison between the business contacts, developers and quality analysts; Design technical solutions to implement enhancements and fix defects in the M&R PCOR to fulfill the needs of business requirements; Document the solutions in design and data mapping documents used by the Development team as instructions for coding and by the QA team to write test scripts; Schedule and hold design reviews with the Development and QA team members and answer questions as needed; Create mini-designs that provide enough information for the Development and QA teams to complete time and cost estimates for enhancement requests. Document the findings in a Technical Component Inventory (TCI) document and review with the Technical and QA Leads; Create and maintain standard design documentation for the PCOR, Data Mapping Document, Design Document; Perform cross-training and provide support for other members of the team; Perform Impact Analysis of defects enhancements; Write Profile Queries for new data sources; and Responsible for communicating overall architecture vision, technical strategies, and trade-offs across various levels in the organization to gain buy-in.Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related computer occupation. Position requires three (3) years of experience in the following:

• Microsoft SSIS and SSRS;

• Erwin Data Modeler;

• Teradata;

• Tableau;

• Informatica Power Center;

• Informatica Metadata manager and Data stage;

• SQL server Agent;

• IDR, TDM , ILM, IDQ and ETL Frameworks;

• Unix, Toad, Maestro Job Scheduling console;

• GitHub;

• Rally;

• Mload, Fast load, Tpump, TPT, Fast Export, MDM, or DTS;

• Microsoft Visio Standard, Microsoft Excel, and Word;

• SharePoint;

• HP ALM Explorer; and

• UltraEdit.

RATE OF PAY: $107,432 - $152,857 / per year
