The Operations Solutions Architect will work with Senior Leadership within Operations and Implementations to design and implement programs/services across the business and provide operational support to leadership for high profile projects. The role will include the strategic management and leadership of business operations work-streams including training, technology, artifact development & maintenance, data integrity & reporting and project readiness.

We are seeking a self-driven leader with exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive the successful design & implementation of operational processes & projects for our team.

This position will execute on initiatives, ensuring consistency in outcomes, translate business initiatives into clear objectives for the team and deliver sustained performance to goal. They will consult with leadership and business stakeholders to review and offer recommendations for future development and roadmap opportunities.

The candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining project management resources including artifacts, project plans and team trainings. Other responsibilities include supporting the team and leadership with deep dives on high visibility / high risk projects, as well as special leadership projects, as needed.

  • Have experience in developing program artifacts, including use cases, project plans, staffing & financial assessments to outline stakeholder needs & ensure they are met

  • Be data savvy – have proven skills in data analysis to simplify, summarize & communicate complex data

  • Be skilled at storytelling through presentations, providing the right level of information for the right audience

  • Be tech-minded – comfortable with web-based work management & collaboration tools and familiar with leveraging AI to improve productivity across our team

  • Act as a mentor for other team members and serves as a subject matter expert

  • Solid background in process improvement with demonstrated experience

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Works directly with Senior Leadership in Operations and Implementations to design and implement programs/services across the business

  • Supports development, delivery & maintenance of training material and artifacts to support consistent execution across the team

  • Consults with Senior Leadership across business to review and provide recommendations for future needs

  • Design and implement solutions leveraging data, incorporating applicable best practices with proven outcomes while supporting an agile business model

  • Drive successful deployments through a rigorous project readiness

  • Support adoption of innovation across the business

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of business operations experience

  • 3+ years of project management experience

  • 3+ years of training experience  

  • Demonstrated experience of data analytic and problem-solving skills including analyzing, monitoring and creating solutions 

  • Proven process improvement skills / experience  

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite:  Excel, Word and Visio

  • Advanced PowerPoint skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile experience 

  • Experience working in Asana (work-management tool)

  • Tableau experience

  • Healthcare Industry experience

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, Washington, D.C. Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
