Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC Benefits Analyst - Leave of Absence in Eden Prairie, Minnesota
Job Summary Beacon Hill's client is looking for a Benefits Analyst that will be responsible for coordinating and administering all aspects of employee leaves and worker's compensation to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. They will provide guidance and excellent customer service to employees, managers, and human resources, while also managing benefits communications and supporting HR Business Partners in addressing benefits-related inquiries. This position is a 4-6-month contract in a hybrid format based in Eden Prairie, MN. Job Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for leave inquiries, managing all leave processes and significant medical events related to worker's compensation injuries.
- Facilitate all company leaves of absence, including Workers' Compensation, FMLA, and personal leave, while consulting with HR on return-to-work and accommodations.
- Collaborate with legal, environmental health and safety, treasury departments, and insurance carriers to contain work comp costs and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage absence data in the Payroll/HRIS system and the HRBenefits email inbox.
- Process Benefits Department invoices accurately and on time, and handle benefit administration tasks such as new hire enrollment and COBRA coordination.
- Develop and deliver leave-related training for employees, managers, and HR professionals, and assist in employee benefits education and orientation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a minimum of 5 years of related field experience.
- Strong expertise in Leave and Worker's Compensation programs.
- Excellent risk assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS knowledge; experience with Benefitfocus preferred.
