Safety Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Ensure that employee concerns are dealt with appropriately and track issues to completion. * Promote health and safety goals and objectives with divisions and employees. * Continuously maintain positive safety influence by recognizing employees who exhibit safe behaviors. * Assist in performing incident investigations, root cause analysis, and incident reviews. * Develop and present health and safety related topics in safety meetings, new hire training, and refresher training. * Demonstrate safe behaviors and coach others to improve overall safety performance. * Evaluate hazardous conditions and practices to develop controls or mitigations as they arise. * Assist with emergency response planning and training. * Maintain knowledge of latest OSHA and other pertinent regulatory rules through ongoing training and seminars. * Develop, review, and update safety programs and policies. * Monitor all worker compensation claims associated with assigned projects. This is a full-time position located in Amery, WI. Travel will be required.
