The basics of working as Polisher include:

• Polishing parts using stones, abrasives, and other materials

• Ensure finish consistency across the part

• Clean assigned parts and maintain neat work area

• Occasionally, may be asked to breakdown or assemble various parts before/after polishing is complete

• Operate a variety of hand tools and other equipment

• Perform all tasks is a safe and responsible manner

• Ability to read and understand both verbal and written work instructions

• Visually observe small defects and imperfections at close range

• Strong attention to detail and consistency of polishing

• Ability to read and understand shop drawings and/or blueprints
