ACCENT FINISHING Painters in EAU CLAIRE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Seeking 3 temporary full-time Painters, Construction and Maintenance to work at 6800 US Highway 12 East, Eau Claire, WI Eau Claire 54701, Eau Claire, Chippewa, Clark, Jackson, Trempealeau, Buffalo, Pepin, and Dunn Counties from 10/01/2024 to 12/31/2024 to Door and trim orders will typically come in delivered as a bulk delivery consisting of a specified number of raw, unfinished and unpainted doors and trim pieces. The orders are often bundled together and wrapped in plastic wrap and bands. Depending on the type of door, doors may also be individually wrapped within the order. There will be a bill of lading with the order that states the number of doors and trim pieces that are in the order. When the painters receive a delivery of unpainted and unstained doors and/or trim, the painters simply cut the plastic bands and unwrap the order, keeping a count of the number of doors and trim pieces in the order. The doors and the trim pieces are lifted and carried to and from the paint/stain/sealer station manually. The painters then use brushes, rags, sponges and spray guns to apply primer, stain, finish, paint and/or sealer on the unfinished doors and trim according to customer specifications. After the various applications have dried, the painters will then sand as needed and refinish and/or touch up the paint as needed. The workers must then reassemble the order according to the original bill of lading. The doors and trim in the order(s) are both unwrapped and unbanded using construction scissors and/or knives and then wrapped again manually using rolls of plastic wrap and cardboard. The finished and/or painted door and trim order is then taken and delivered to the job site. Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs for 75 yards. Must be able to handle temperature extremes. Some weekend work. Will travel within the area of intended employment. No prior education or experience is required. On the job, training will be provided. \$22.64/hr. Approx. 40 hours/week, from Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm. Applicants may be offered higher than the advertised. The wage rate may vary on experience and/or merit. \$33.96hr for overtime. Up to 5-10 hours of overtime may be available but not guaranteed. All deductions from the worker\'s paycheck will be made as required by law. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages and pay Weekly by check. Any advances will be deducted with the consent of the employee. The employer will provide housing as an option to employees living outside the regular commuting distance. Employees who elect to live in the housing will have an additional \$58 deducted Weekly paycheck for rent and utilities.Optional daily transportation will be provided from and to worksite at no cost.In the first workweek, the cost of transportation (including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be directly reimbursed to every worker. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker\'s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker\'s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. In the first workweek, daily subsistence for travel to the place of employment will be reimbursed at a rate of at least \$15.88/day to a maximum of \$59.0.
