Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in the machinery manufacturing industry, based in Eatontown, New Jersey. The Accounting Manager will be tasked with handling end-of-month procedures, maintaining financial records, managing multi-state tax filings and performing reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the process of month-end closing with precision and efficiency

• Handle multiple state tax filings while ensuring compliance with respective laws

• Conduct financial reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy of data

• Oversee year-end closing activities, ensuring all tasks are completed within deadlines

• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring they reflect the actual financial status of the company

• Implement effective strategies to optimize accounting processes and enhance financial reporting. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven work experience as an Accounting Manager within the machinery manufacturing industry.

• Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws, and regulations.

• Proficiency in accounting software.

• Demonstrated ability to manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
