Finished Products/ PS&D Manager Process Maintenance

The Eastover mill produces approximately 2,400 TPD of bleached pulp and paper, employs approximately 600 people and operates with high performance work systems. The Finished Products/PS&D Mechanical Maintenance Manager is responsible for all aspects of mechanical maintenance workflow, coordination, execution, and equipment reliability performance for the Finished Products/PS&D Departments. This includes (2) Paper Machines (focus on one), (2) Winders (focus on one), (2) Rewinders, (2) Wrappers, Chemical Additives Area, all auxiliaries supporting these areas, and all associated facilities mechanical infrastructure. The successful candidate will provide leadership focus to engage appropriate employees in all aspects of safety and reliability and identifying, scoping, selling and implementing maintenance process improvements. The Finished Products/PS&D Mechanical Maintenance Manager is expected to partner with Operations, the Maintenance Management Team, other maintenance disciplines, planning, contracted maintenance, mill stores, project engineering, and reliability engineering functions to ensure safety, environmental excellence, high equipment availability, facility preservation, and overall reliable paper production that meets customer demands within budget. The Finished Products/PS&D Area Mechanical Maintenance Manager must have the courage to develop and maintain a safe work culture with proven demonstration of leading by example. This position reports to the Finished Products Area Maintenance Manager.

The PL Level is 12-13, depending on qualifications of the successful candidate.

Qualifications:

Required:

· Proven safety record (individual performance and leadership)

· 10 years Mechanical Maintenance experience

· Substantial knowledge of and experience maintaining rotating equipment including pumps & gearboxes, welding & cutting metals, heavy rigging, pipefitting, and repair/troubleshooting of hydraulic systems required.

• Strong problem solving and decision making skills

• Extensive experience on production equipment

· Knowledge of work flow, work execution, planning, preventative & predictive maintenance

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Demonstrated team leadership experience to achieve important results

· Demonstrated ability to select, plan, coordinate, and manage Contract work.

· Demonstrated ability to influence people to achieve desired results

· Demonstrated team leadership skills.

· Experience with SAP and Checkbook

· Proficient with Word, Excel, Projects, Project, Etc.

· Successful completion of Front Line Leader program after selection

· Successful Safety Leadership Certification, required after selection
