Position Summary : Responsible for total equipment preparedness of trucks and trailers. Set up warehouse operation by staging proper equipment at appropriate loading zones per daily routing schedule.

Hours: Monday- Friday 4:30 am - 1:00 am when needed

Position Essential Duties:

• Safely fuel, clean, inspect, hook, and stage trucks and trailers.

• Work closely with warehouse supervisors to ensure necessary equipment is in position for a smooth loading operation

• Train in emergency hazardous materials response.

• Responsible for area equipment record keeping: fuel usage, equipment records, and dispatcher sheets.

• Participates in a safety culture that includes no recordable accidents and no loss of time injuries. Always make a safe choice. Ensures proper PPE is used at all times. Watches out for co-workers and warns them when there are any safety issues or hazards. Participates actively in all safety programs and activities.

• Other duties as assigned

  Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• Ability to work a flexible schedule

• Knowledge of driving no CDL needed

• Ability to read and accurately enter data into the PC system

• Must have an excellent driving record

• May be on-call 24 hours/day as business dictates
