The Role

Reporting to the store manager (or his/her delegate), the Receiver is responsible to receive incoming products and handle product return, replacement etc.  This position also needs to provide good service to vendors and staff and keep the receiving equipment and workplace in a good status.

Major Responsibilities

1. Check the quantity, weight and quality of products during receiving; process & sort related invoices and documents.
2. Assist Department Heads to handle products returned & replaced; manage shrinkage & examine obsolete items.
3. Follow procedures to execute in-shore transfers.
4. Ensure receiving machinery, equipment and working tools are under regular maintenance and well-kept.
5. Ensure receiving areas is organized, clear, unblocked, and safe.
6. Responsible for backdoor access control and policy implementation.
7. Responsible for the training and management of other employees in the department.
8. Greet vendors, warehouse and staff by providing friendly service.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements

1. Demonstrate strong ability to articulate ideas and to take a creative project from initial to final stages and to quickly react to changing priorities and needs.
2. Throubleshooting of technical issues as they occur.  Self-motivated in learning new training technologies.
3. Strong written and verbal communication and translation skills in both English and Chinese.
4. Advance level in MS office, Outlook, Office365.
5. Experience in cooperate training activities; experience in trtail companies; familiarity with SCORM and Learning Management System is an asset.
6. Integrity in handling multimedia files and respect the use of digital representation of other individuals.
7. Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.  Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
