Job Summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the level three Project Manager (PM) position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

As a Level Three Project Manager this role involves providing project management support to monitor and track IT change requests and projects for a Government site and its supported organizations. The PM will be responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, monitoring, and closing projects using project management tools and techniques under the direction of the 375th Communications Squadron, Plans and Implementation Flight Commander or their designate. Key responsibilities include facilitating meetings, allocating resources, resolving project conflicts, taking and distributing meeting notes, and briefing senior leadership. The PM will also attend Government-identified meetings and provide summary or detailed reports on the results and impacts as requested.

The PM is accountable for the quality assurance of deliverables, key performance indicators (KPIs), and service level agreements (SLAs), including the project charter, schedules, implementation plans, lists of materials and project residue, and close-out documentation.

Job Requirements:

Skills / Experience Required

• 8 years of experience performing project management functions
• Developing project management and meeting artifacts
• Providing quality management to contract program
• Personnel management
• Service as POC between contractor and POC/TPOC

Education / Certifications

• Must possess and maintain PMP certification

Security Clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
