Summary:
We are seeking a Demand & Supply Planner to drive operational efficiency by optimizing inventory levels and ensuring product availability. This role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will forecast demand and align inventory strategies to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, review, and implement accurate demand forecasts at the SKU level.
* Monitor sales performance and adjust forecasts based on shifting trends.
* Ensure optimal inventory levels by coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers.
* Work closely with sales, finance, and operations to align planning strategies.
* Manage relationships with big box retailers
* Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to streamline product availability.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
* Experience in demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, or inventory management.
* Preferred experience in buying for wholesale customers
* Proficiency in ERP systems, demand planning software, and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams in sales, supply chain, and finance.
* Knowledge of retail, wholesale, and e-commerce inventory strategies.
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
