The East Rochester School District is seeking a long-term substitute speech therapist to work with elementary students in grades 2-5. This position is anticipated to run through October 16, 2024.

Responsibilities include:

• Small group lessons

• 1:1 lessons

• Push-in classroom services

• Collaboration with other support services

• Conduct evaluations

• Craft IEP information

• Progress monitoring and reporting

  The selected candidate will be required to attend the New Faculty Staff Orientation on August 20-22.

Job Qualifications

NYS Certification - Speech and Language Disabilities

• Have an ability to communicate effectively with staff and students.

• The ability to work independently, facilitate group dynamics, exercise good judgment, and show initiative.
