The Job:

As a second shift Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations, you’ll be part of our Global Tools & Storage (GTS) manufacturing operations team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to:

• Oversee production in our manufacturing setting and encourage a safe and satisfying work environment for employees on second shift.

• Provide leadership and initiate actions that improve safety and quality at the lowest cost possible, while producing an outstanding product that is delivered on time and in spec.

• Report to the Plant Manager (or Value Stream Manager) and will be responsible for the supervision of approximately 30 employees.

• Create and foster a strong safety culture through consistent communication (weekly/monthly employee meetings, toolbox talks, EH&S trainings).

• Participate in EH&S incident reporting including near miss, accident investigations and corrective action.

• Support continuous improvement projects and drive lean manufacturing principles.

• Develop a working knowledge of the equipment and processes in the production area to be able to balance decisions pertaining to customer, employee and business need.

• Serve as a change agent in the implementation and execution of new processes that increase efficiency and on-time delivery.

• Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, scrap transactions and production transactions.

• Manage employee performance and development through the annual review processes.

The Person:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (preferred)

• 4 years of experience with inventory in a fast-paced Manufacturing setting where the passion to win drives urgency and an owner mindset

• Experience in a high-energy, dynamic work environment

• Ability to work as a team and utilize all time productively
