Description

As a Software Quality Assurance Intern, individuals will spend several weeks in a training program consisting of both classroom-based and on-the-job trainings. Topics include member service, MSUFCU culture and philosophies, product knowledge, career development, computer systems, and compliance. This is a learning position which performs a variety of functions specific to the department that corresponds with the intern's field of study. This individual will be assigned a department specific project to complete during their time as a Software Quality Assurance Intern. Software Quality Assurance Interns will have the opportunity to meet with management and leadership to learn about the corporate culture while gaining hands-on business experience. Work Location:Remote or Hybrid; A combination of working from home/remotely and at MSUFCU Headquarters campus in East Lansing, MI Work Schedule: Part-Time 20-25 hours/week; Hours will be scheduled based on student's school schedule and business hours (8:30AM - 5:00PM Monday-Friday) Paid Hourly Internship - $18.00+/hour Duration: Fall Semester with potential to continue into future semesters and summer Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the execution and documentation of test cases, test scripts, and test plans for software testing. Assist with creating test plans as assigned. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities. Provide feedback on testing during lessons learned/retrospectives. Work with support team to validate reported bugs. Perform acceptance testing while working with the development team to debug issues. Be prepared to provide insight as to usability and experience in relation to similar apps. Occasionally needs to move about inside of office area Exposure to potentially hazardous condition, i.e. robbery.
