The Executive Administrative Assistant to the General Manager acts as liaison between the general public, Wind Creek Hospitality, and the team members. This person will provide assistance to the General Manager through administrative coordination and clerical support to effectively discharge the responsibilities required by this position.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides clerical and administrative support functions including preparing, typing, and proofreading a wide variety of correspondence and reports
- Maintains and files a variety of financial correspondence and records
- Assists with the preparation and distribution of monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Assists with the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports reflecting expenditures of property
- Reviews incoming correspondence and handles all not requiring personal attention of the General Manager; Reviews various business and financial publications, news releases, and reports and prepares comments to call the attention to the General Manager, items of importance
- Schedules and maintains appointments, handles travel arrangements, and prepares outgoing correspondence for the General Manager; Communicates directives to the staff from the General Manager
- Provides administrative and or hands on support to all operational areas as requested; Assembles information/data into executive summaries and detailed reports
- Assists the General Manager and Operations Managers with coordination of open positions, resumes, scheduling of interviews, and communicates with prospective candidates
- Performs communicative functions between the General Manager, Wind Creek Hospitality Board, Wind Creek Hospitality General Managers, and outside entities as directed
- Other duties & responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older-required
Bachelors Degree in Related Field AND two (2) years of Executive Administrative Assistant experience to a Vice President of a \$5 million revenue generating company-required
- OR Six (6) years of experience in an Executive Administrative Assistant position to a Vice President of a \$5 million revenue generating company- required
Must be proficient in use of Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Word computer programs (a skills test will be administered and candidate must pass with a 70% pass rate) required
Must have willingness to work nights, weekends & holidays as needed-required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with specific emphasis on spelling, punctuation, and grammar
Experience working in a confidential work setting
Skilled and mature in making valid judgments, the determination of priorities, working independently; well organized with atten tion to detail; and the ability to relate effectively to the general public
People oriented, relating well to people from diverse backgrounds, and possess a high level of maturity and the ability to work with and maintain confidentiality
Must have a valid and current State Drivers License and an insurable driving record for purposes of driving company vehicles as required
Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position
Willing to travel and to participate in training as recommended
