POSITION PROFILE We are experiencing rapid growth and are therefore looking for a Supply Chain Planner/Scheduler to strengthen our Supply Chain Department in North America. The position reports to our Muuto Work Team Lead and located in East Greenville, Pennsylvania. The Supply Chain Planner/Scheduler will be responsible to secure daily purchase order planning, stock replenishment & coordination across the value chain. Follow up with suppliers to ensure shipping performance, lead time, and response time to inquiry meet strategic targets and initiate corrective actions when needed. Along with scheduling customer orders, stock POs in both JDE and Muuto's Internal System Navision. We are looking for an Internal Candidate from East Greenville, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will be joining an international company of ambitious and passionate people, driven by the desire of adding new perspectives to the heritage of Scandinavian design.
Responsibilities for this position include the following: * Keep Dynamic/Navision updated with valid data, creating, and maintaining stock items. * Purchase order planning, stock replenishment and invoice processing * Inventory planning to support ready to ship stocked products. * Supply and demand analysis of make to stock products. * Handle product inquiries from sales * Follow up with relevant suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery. * Support in maintaining forecast. * Facilitate communication to develop action plans to resolve supply constraints and/ or bottlenecks. * Evaluate supplier's performance & initiate corrective actions when required. * Administrate stock levels; ensure inventory accuracy and transparency. * Support additional suppliers as necessary. * Performs other duties as necessary to support business objectives.
Required Skills: * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Analytical, problem-solving capability * Ability to handle multiple tasks and areas of responsibilities in an efficient manner and effectively prioritize. * Team oriented and customer focused individual.
Required Experience: * Relevant education/ work experience in supply chain, procurement, sourcing, or logistics * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Access, Word * Working knowledge of vendor scheduling concept/ MRP * Microsoft Dynamics Navision experience a plus
