Eversource Energy Associate Analyst, Engineering (Hybrid) in East Berlin, Connecticut

The Associate Analyst role shall prepare and manage the publication of distribution, substation and transmission standards & procedures, along with the associated master standards indexes, lists, and update pages. Monitor and track the status of standard reviews/approvals via a Multiple Standard Approval Sites and send any overdue reminders. Forwarded comments received to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for resolution.

Provided Non-Disclosure Agreements to engineering vendors requiring access to distribution, substation and transmission documents and track and maintain access to the External Bookshelf SharePoint Site.

Facilitates and maintains various libraries (i.e., Compatible Unit Library Maximo, Material Master Library DMS, etc.). Monitor and track the statuses within each library.

Essential Functions:

  • Publishes and maintains electronic and hard copy documentation for Distribution, Substation and Transmission standards.
  • Designs documentation library structure, administration and maintenance processes and procedures, including any business process changes.
  • Designs web pages and layout for internal and external customers (SharePoint)
  • Controls and authorizes security access to Distribution, Substation and Transmission standards electronic documentation system for users within Eversource and outside Eversource (e.g., external business partners).
  • Develops structure for adding, classifying, and securing documents in the SharePoint Systems
  • Verifies and files all incoming electronic documentation, correspondence and physical records and assigns to the appropriate project file; maintains confidentiality of appropriate records.
  • Provide business and technical consultation and support to customers.
  • Works closely with IT on projects that are intended to continually improve/upgrade the documentation system.
  • Makes effective presentations to diverse audiences such as customers, vendors, and staff.
  • Serves as liaison with vendors for software and hardware relating to electronic documentation library (SharePoint).
  • Performs other duties related to the position such as tracking filing activity, coordinating of movement of records to and from the Multiple Standard Approval Sites , updating indexes and maintaining an accurate up-to-date inventory of all physical records stored in the Multiple Standard Approval Sites , and accurate reporting of Multiple Standard Approval Sitesactivities

Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Experience:

Technical Knowledge/Skill:

  • Ability to apply technical expertise to document management systems and technologies.
  • Ability to create well-structured and easily understood technical documents.
  • Knowledge of physical records storage/access systems.
  • Proficient in use of computer systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and SharePoint.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be responsible for several detailed tasks at one time.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience required. A Bachelor's in English with a focus on Technical Writing preferred.

Experience :

  • 0-3 years of Management Information Systems experience required. Technical expertise in the area of electronic documentation systems preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

Working Conditions:

  • Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
  • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
