This role not only focuses on PPAP execution but also on coordinating PFEMA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), Control Plans, CFATs (Customer Factory Acceptance Tests), and FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests). The successful candidate will ensure that all processes and products meet stringent specifications and quality standards. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Key Responsibilities: Conduct and coordinate first article inspections, AS9102, and PPAPs, ensuring adherence to US Government and military specifications, along with commercial standards. Develop, assess, and maintain PFEMAs and Control Plans to anticipate and mitigate potential failures in the production process. Coordinate CFATs and FATs, ensuring all products meet customer expectations and regulatory compliance before leaving the facility. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to validate processes and component quality, promoting continuous improvement. Document and report inspection and test results, providing comprehensive feedback to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency. Maintain accurate records and manage inspection equipment to ensure precise measurements and assessments. Update and refine inspection and testing protocols in accordance with evolving industry standards and government regulations. Qualifications: Extensive experience with PPAP coordination, with a solid track record in first article inspections for large OEMs, especially in government contracting. Strong knowledge of GD&T as it pertains to fabricated and machined parts. In-depth knowledge of welding codes (e.g., AWS Certified D1.1/D1.2/D1.3/D1.6, B2.1, MIL-STD3040) and manufacturing standards.
