JOB REQUIREMENTS: Summary: The Concrete Logistics Scheduler is primarily responsible for scheduling concrete requests while using the most efficient and cost-effective processes possible. This position also schedules and coordinates the delivery of concrete septic tanks. This role reports to the Dispatch Operations Manager. Scheduling Responsibilities: Communication should be efficient, professional, and honest Uses a headset to efficiently multitask (type, schedule, and talk) while on the phone with customer Receives customer order via telephone call or text and effectively communicates to determine proper quantity, mix, delivery time, and job site location for each order. Makes note of any special or unusual customer requests, may have to coordinate with quality control to determine best options Suggests value-added products to customers to enhance product performance based on the nature of the customer\'s job Reserves the customer\'s truck(s) on the scheduling sheet while on the phone with customer to keep schedule as up to date as possible Enters the customer order timely, accurately, and completely into the dispatch system Advises customer of any potential issues/concerns regarding product order such as load limits, scheduling conflicts, vehicle weight limitations, etc. Properly screens new and retail customers to ensure their information is accurate and can schedule accordingly Calls and/or texts customers to confirm their orders for the next day, verifies all information is correct before marking the order \"normal\" in the system Ensures as order information is updated that the scheduling sheet updates as well. Coordinates orders with concrete logistics team to ensure everyone is up to date on order information Skills/Abilities: Consistent accuracy while being challenged with changing variables daily Problem solving and decision making ability Using your team and work collaboratively to making good decisions Demonstrated ability to work with basic mathematics to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (including fractions) Must be comfortable with using and learning software programs Must be detail oriented, logical, adaptable and professional Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English Ability to read and interpret maps and directions Effective oral and written communication skills Communicate confidently and professionally Deliver outstanding customer service Capability to grasp essential technical product information Ability to handle multiple competing tasks Ability to work independently within a team Regular attendance and physical presence in the dispatch office is an essential function of this position This job may require additional duties not listed above and the employee may be asked to perform those duties to meet business needs Working Conditions: Professional environment within a climate-controlled office environment Extended eye exposure to CRT screen Customer contact may result in stressful situations Experience: Work experience with construction or transportation industry preferred Basic knowledge of Google Suite, Email and Excel General knowledge of surrounding area ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply In Person: 8075 Highway D, Eagle River WI 54521
