We are seeking a highly motivated and assertive Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Java and Python. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on developing AI algorithms, working with and developing Language Models (LLMs), and Generative AI. About The Role As an Sr Software Engineer in FindLaw, your responsibilities are to: Design, develop, and maintain AI algorithms and models using Java and Python. Work on the development and improvement of Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Work independently with minimal guidance and take ownership of projects About You You are a fit for the Sr Software Engineer role if you have: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or PhD preferred. 7+ years of software development experience, with a focus on Java and Python. Strong experience in developing AI algorithms, working with and developing LLMs, and Generative AI. Proven ability to work independently and as a part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong analytical mindset. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. High degree of self-motivation and assertiveness. Nice to Have: Experience with other programming languages such as C++, C#, or JavaScript. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
