Blue Cross Blue Shield of MN is hiring a Senior Product Analyst to join our Pharmacy team in Eagan, MN. The Senior Product Analyst will research and prioritize high-value feature opportunities, maintain a healthy product backlog, and perform regular assessments to measure product performance against established goals and benchmarks. In addition, the role includes providing day-to-day operational support and other ad-hoc tasks as needed, to ensure our products not only align with our overall strategic objectives butare also serving our members. Furthermore, the Senior Product Analyst will also handle day-to-day operational support, including assisting the sales team for the Pharmacy team. This role ensures smooth operations and exceptional service delivery to our commercial members and clients, impacting over a million people. As a Senior Product Analyst, you should have excellent research and problem-solving skills, an understanding of complex software development, comprehensive understanding of the product development lifecycle and the ability to communicate effectively. You will ensure ongoing product support which may include story writing, documentation, and testing input. The Senior Product Analyst will also help manage the backlog and provide input around opportunities for improvement. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of Business Analyst and/or Product Analyst experience in healthcare and pharmacy industries. This candidate will be a self-motivated who can proactively transform insights into actions. A Day InThe Life Responsible for gathering and interpreting data from various sources, identifying key insights, and providing actionable recommendations to drive product development and enhancement. Management of daily pharmacy inquiries from vendors, customer service and sales/account management to serve our members and clients. Collaborate with team(s) and Stakeholder(s) to discover and deliver the best solution to the market problem(s) presented by the Product Manager or Product Owner (business). Working with a variety of internal and external partners to elicit and document business requirements for user stories. Help Product Owner and scrum team to plan work in upcoming sprints, considering a variety of factors such as priority, effort/cost, complexity, dependencies, and business and system impacts Provide input into complex business cases and vendor relationships and document the technology/business needs into product backlog stories/items. Attends sprint ceremonies and is available to team during the sprint for clarifications and acceptance of user stories. Aid where needed throughout sprints for the development team, such as answering questions on requirements and providing input on testing strategy. Develop and maintain technical documentation of system and business processes. Build strong relationships with team members, business users, stakeholders, subject matter experts, vendors, to help navigate through problems, decisions, and related implications. Act as a mentor for other product analysts and scrum team members Required Skills & Experiences 5+ years of related (Product Analyst and/or Business Analyst) professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties Nice To Have Bachelor's degree in information technology or business, technical degree or a relevant field Experience in process improvement with high level of execution focu Strong Experience working in the pharmacy insurance industry One of the following certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), SAFe PM/PO or CSM Experience with writing complex business/functional requirements and experience implementing Agile methodologies Make A Difference Blue Cross is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer that values diversity.
