We are looking for a leader of Sales Learning Design & Content Strategy you will be instrumental in empowering Thomson Reuters' sales teams to achieve peak performance. As the leader of Sales Enablement Learning Design & Content Strategy you will lead the development and implementation of innovative learning programs, content, and platforms that align with our strategic pillars and business priorities. About the Role In this opportunity as Director, GTM Sales Learning Design & Content Strategy, your key responsibilities will be: Strategic Leadership Lead and inspire a team of Learning and Development professionals to deliver exceptional training programs that support initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize enablement initiatives that support individual business objectives and contribute to the company's strategic direction. Oversee training intake process, prioritize requests, coordinate with stakeholders, maintain records, and improve efficiency. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales organization, encouraging a growth mindset and promoting ongoing professional development. Stay informed of emerging trends and best practices in sales enablement as well as L&D, leveraging industry insights to drive innovation and improve our programs. Learning Program Design & Content Development Design and develop tailored learning programs, including competency frameworks and role-based learning journeys, that address the specific needs of our sales teams at different stages of their careers. Leverage adult learning principles, modern learning modalities, and innovative learning design tools to create engaging and effective learning experiences that resonate with our diverse sales force. Ensure learning programs are aligned with the sales process, support sales enablement initiatives, and drive measurable results that contribute to the company's bottom line. Evaluate program effectiveness through rigorous data analysis and make data-driven adjustments to improve outcomes and maximize ROI. Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and informative content that is tailored to the specific needs of our sales teams and supports their professional development. Oversee the development of high-quality content key sales events, ensuring that content is aligned with the sales process, supports sales enablement initiatives, and drives measurable results. Manage a centralized repository of sales enablement content, making it easily accessible while ensuring that content is up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with our evolving business needs. Knowledge Platforms Strategy Own the strategy for our knowledge platforms, ensuring that they are accessible, user-friendly, and support the learning and development needs of our sales teams. Collaborate with technology teams to implement and maintain effective knowledge management systems that facilitate knowledge sharing, collaboration, and ongoing learning. Develop and implement content curation processes to ensure that knowledge platforms remain relevant and up-to-date, providing our sales teams with the information and resources they need to succeed. Evaluate platform usage and effectiveness to make data-driven improvements and optimize the platform's value to our sales organization. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with leadership, product mark ting, and other departments to develop sales enablement materials that connect content to the sales process and empower sellers to use knowledge effectively. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to drive alignment and ensure successful implementation of enablement initiatives that support the overall business objectives. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to identify and address the needs of our sales teams, leveraging diverse perspectives and expertise to develop innovative solutions. Performance Measurement Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement content and assess its impact on sales performance. Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization. Use insights from performance data to inform strategic decisions, optimize enablement programs, and demonstrate the value of sales enablement to the organization. About You You're a fit for the role of Director, GTM Sales Learning Design & Content Strategy if your background includes: 8+ years of experience in professional development, B2B sales, sales enablement leadership and change management. Experience developing contemporary blended training that engages the learner, such as (ILT, Virtual Training, graphics, audio, video demonstrations, and simulations). Design engaging skill/training content and programs to include micro/video learning, infographics, and in-depth training virtually or in person. Leverage business partner engagement, sponsorship and tracking to gain adoption, adjust strategies, and achieve results. Experience with learning management systems (LMS), content management platforms, and digital training tools is required. Use curiosity to understand our goals, sales routines, performance data and current state to uncover an approach to improving performance. Demonstrate the ability to approach instructional design with a strategic and systematic process. Analyze data, measure performance and the impact of development interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Ability to work independently and manage a team, collaborating effectively with cross-functional business partners to achieve shared goals. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address challenges effectively.
