MISO Energy Corporate Counsel in Eagan, Minnesota
Description
Key responsibilities:
Engage in the MISO stakeholder process to address regulatory and compliance matters.
Prepare and file regulatory documents, including FERC filings.
Work closely with internal subject matter experts to identify and mitigate legal risks.
Provide legal advice on the MISO Tariff and related regulations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to respond to inquiries and provide strategic counsel.
Contribute to other duties as assigned, supporting the overall legal and regulatory strategy.

Must be licensed to practice law in one of the following states: Indiana, Arkansas, Minnesota, or Washington, DC.
Expertise in administrative agency litigation and familiarity with appellate procedures.
Knowledge of the electric or natural gas industries is a plus.
Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.

- Doctorate or better in Law (JD)
Experience
Required
- 3-5 years: experience as a practicing attorney, with a strong preference for experience in federal energy regulations.
