Adecco US, Inc. Collections Specialist in Eagan, Minnesota

Adecco is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Collections Specialist to join our client’s team in Eagan, MN.

As a Collections Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely payment of outstanding accounts. Your responsibilities will include contacting customers to resolve delinquent accounts, negotiating payment plans, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in finance or customer service.

  • 3+ years of experience in collections or accounts receivable.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Knowledge of collection laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers by phone, email, or in person to collect overdue payments.

  • Research and resolve customer billing inquiries and disputes.

  • Negotiate payment plans with customers based on their financial circumstances.

  • Maintain accurate records of collection activities, including customer interactions, payment history, and account status.

  • Escalate difficult or complex collection cases to management as needed.

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to collections.

Pay Details: $25.80 per hour
