Lean Roadmap: Prepares and updates the Lean roadmap in close cooperation with site management. Defines Lean measures based on Lean roadmap together with the site manager. Measures: Ensures the measurability of Lean activities. Collaborates with Lean champion and the site manager on corrective actions in cases of deviations from set activities. Trainings: Plans, implements and directs Lean projects and kaizen workshops. Prepares and conducts Lean trainings (e.g. basics Lean, 5S, SMED, etc. ...). Leads, promotes, and motivates the employees on Lean manufacturing together with the Lean champion, e.g. through Lean games, best practices, personnel development and training measures, and active communication through internal media platforms (plant information boards, SCHOTT World, etc.). Lean/Six Sigma Projects: anticipate and meet/exceed customer expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively, identify innovative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems.  Uses the Lean Monitoring Tool (LMT) to ensure the activity progress of the projects by the frequently update of the different Leaders, plans, implements and directs Lean and Six Sigma projects /activities and kaizen workshops. Communicates and facilitates all Lean and Six Sigma activities in alignment with the BU business plans. Works closely with Plant Manager and Lean Champions AO to introduce and sustain Lean & Six Sigma culture into the site.  Coaches the plant colleagues in Lean & Six Sigma Methods, especially Green Belts of the site.  Is the owner of the site Lean Monitoring Tool and ensures that project owners provide frequently update on workshop results, project & activity progress.  Conducts Value Stream Analyses of core processes within the site. Conducts methods time measurement (MTM) studies to improve processes and work force utilization Supports ergonomic improvements in cooperation with the site EHS advisor. Exchange of Experiences: Cooperates and enforces interactive experience/information exchanges with other BU Lean Managers. Informs site management, Lean champions and the BU line about the status and progress of the Lean management efforts and activities on site.

Your Profile

Degree (studies) in mechanical, industrial or electrical engineering 3-5 years of experience in Lean Transformation and in leadership, project management and manufacturing costs analysis, preferable as Head of Production or Supply Chain Manager. Broad Lean expertise; Six Sigma Black Belt Certification; Excellent English language skills; moderation and presentation skills; communicative leadership attitude assertiveness, distinctive social competence, open-minded towards change
