Chapel Hill Tire Shuttle Driver - Part Time (M-F 8 am - 4 pm) in Durham, North Carolina

We’re looking for a Shuttle Driver Biweekly M-F from 8 am - 4 pm, every other week 40 hours.

Duties include:

  • Driving customers to destinations

  • Ambassador to our brand

  • Cleaning shops when not driving

Requirements

  • A warm smile accompanied by a quick greeting is necessary.

  • Maintains decent conversation with customers

  • Educates customers about the company’s full line of products and services.

  • Answers passengers’ questions in a polite and gentle manner

  • Provides passengers with assistance entering and exiting vehicles

  • Commits to safe driving

  • Thanks all customers for their patronage.

  • Contributes to store efficiency by picking up parts when necessary.

  • Keeps the shuttle van clean and well maintained. The van will serve as an example to our customers of our philosophy of maintenance and preventative repair.

  • Follows relevant safety regulations and state laws governing vehicle operation

  • Tests vehicle equipment, such as lights, brakes, horns, or windshield wipers, to ensure proper operation

  • Seeks out ways to help the manager with the functioning of the store.

  • Assists with answering phones when necessary.

  • Assists store manager with keeping store clean and professional looking.

  • Performs other duties as required within the scope of responsibility.

  • Hours: M-F 8 am - 4 pm Biweekly

Education and/or Experience: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledge of traffic rules and regulations is necessary.

License/Certification: Valid driver’s license and clean driving history required.
